These are the most common plumbing problems

There are a number of plumbing problems that can cause issues in your home or business. If you don’t feel comfortable tackling these problems on your own, our company has the knowledge and experience to handle any plumbing issues quickly and effectively.

Dripping Faucets

If you've ever tried to go to sleep with a dripping faucet in the next room or wrestled with a kitchen sink that dripped through the night, you know how irritating this common problem can be. A dripping faucet also drives up your water bill. A single faucet can waste hundreds of gallons of water, literally sending your hard-earned money down the drain. Water entering your house is under pressure to move through the pipes. When you turn off the tap, rubber or silicone-based washers form a water-tight seal that prevents more water from pressing its way through the pipes and out of the faucet. Over time, washers can become stiff, torn, or worn, allowing a small trickle of water through and producing that bothersome drip. The repair task can be more of an obstacle than you might anticipate without specialized tools. If the leak has gone on for an extended period of time, the valve seat may become worn or rusty, requiring a more involved repair that's best left to a plumbing professional.

Sluggish or Clogged Drains

When the water that enters your sink, tub, or toilet won’t go down, you probably have a partial or complete clog. In many cases, your trusty plunger can fix the problem. Plungers use air pressure to dislodge a clog, but they can’t remove it completely. Commercial drain cleaners and clog eliminators are safe for most drains with occasional use, but these caustic products can damage some pipe materials if used too often. If you're dealing with drain blockages regularly, it’s time to call us. Even if you don’t have a full clog, debris in the pipes can slow drainage to a drip. Shine a flashlight into the drain to see if you can spot the issue. A pair of pliers or tweezers might be able to grab a clump of hair or a fallen bottle cap that's blocking your pipes. Install drain screens to prevent hair or sediment from making its way into the drains.

Water Heaters

One of the most important conveniences in your home or business is your hot water heater, it is crucial that your water heater is installed by a licensed plumber.

We have over twenty-five years of experience installing all makes, models, and sizes of water heaters. We can install water heaters purchased by you from the store or we can discuss with you the different options available to you, pick it up and install it for you.

Water heaters are often taken for granted. Day in and day out you simply turn a handle or shower and rely on hot water to come out, but over time with all the hot water being used, eventually problems will develop.
